1.1. Mindful Break for Teachers

Dear Colleagues,

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the semester, it’s essential to carve out moments of tranquility for ourselves. To that end, we will start weekly mindfulness sessions tailored specifically for teachers.

Why Mindfulness: Teaching is a noble yet demanding profession. It requires resilience, empathy, and unwavering presence. Mindfulness practices offer an opportunity where you can feel grounded and cultivate resilience.

What to Expect: The sessions are designed to cater to all experience levels, from beginners to experienced practitioners. Each session will last around 30 minutes and include short mindfulness practices and some group sharing.

What to Achieve:

  • Learn techniques to manage stress, alleviate tension, and foster resilience in the face of challenges.
  • Embrace the present moment through mindfulness exercises that enhance focus, clarity, and emotional well-being.
  • Connect with fellow educators in a supportive environment where you can share experiences and insights.
