Module Details:

The core mission and passion of teachers is to educate our youth. Master teachers understand core principles of how memory and cognition work and apply them to perform this mission more effectively—although not necessarily perfectly! This interactive session will demonstrate and elaborate upon basic cognitive principles; moreover, the session will identify active learning strategies that embody and apply the core principles. The need for transfer-appropriate assessment strategies will also be addressed.

By the end of this free webinar, the participants will be able to
-describe core cognitive principles of memory encoding and retrieval
-apply core principles to design active learning activities and transfer-appropriate assessments
