Since we are busy with marking our students’ papers this week, we thought it might be a good idea to remind ourselves of a very useful function of Turnitin that most of us are already familiar with. By creating our own QuickMark sets, we can ease our job 🙂 We can save time while we are giving feedback because instead of repeatedly writing out the same comments on different student papers, we can drag and drop items from our sets quickly onto the student papers.

One of our UGE instructors, Ayfer Karaca is going to give an online Q & A session where we can ask our questions  and share our experiences regarding QuickMark function on Turnitin. The session will be on Thursday at 09:30. If you would like to attend the session, please inform by tomorrow (17:30) so that she can make the necessary arrangements.

For the ones who are not familiar with this function or who would like to learn more about it before the session, we would like to share the following guidelines taken from Turnitin webpage.

Here are also some useful tutorials explaining how to use this function to give feedback on our students’ written production.
